Digital Art / Design / Miscellany
I am a freelance a multi-discipline artist and digital creator of all things 3D.
In a decade from entering Higher Education I was a awarded a MA with Distinction in Games, a BA in Fine Art and an ASFEL at Norwich University of the Arts, wherein I worked as Digital 3D Media Technician and Supervisor.
Now I am particularly focused on Soft Surface character and creature design alongside Hard Surface asset modelling, utilising Zbrush, Blender, Substance Painter, to create game-ready assets with optimised geometry and texture maps suitable for use in-game or for high detailed rendering.
I use varied techniques to efficiently produce well rounded character models, including using Photogrammetry in conjunction with 3D modelling and sculpting techniques to create versatile, highly-detail and optimised game-ready asset.
I model organic and humanoid forms with a range of sci-fi and fantasy aesthetics efficiently, with meticulous attention to texture details, simulating clothes and hair to create fully fleshed out characters. Hard-surface modelling has become a greater part of my production capabilities, items such as weapons, armour and miscellany being modelled for use for a range of platforms and game engines, alongside designing and fabricating 3D printed CAD components for Archvis utilisation, scale-model maquette manufacturer.
Following my technical role, I have been iterating on designs to find more efficient practices through creative experimentation, online and practical research. This has supported a diatribe of different approaches to 3D asset production and implementation, to most effectively realise the ideas of students, through teaching, producing educational and support materials for independent learning, in addition to the maintenance and use of Workshop equipment, hardware and software alike, enabling the familiarisation with the use of distributed rendering, VR equipment, 3D printing and laser cutting.
